He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Deobald and Marie Deobald; his wife Kathleen Drysdale; his granddaughter Sara Wall; his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Mary Drysdale; his siblings, Eleanor Gleim (Gordon), Harvey Deobald (Barbara) and Ralph Deobald; and his nephews, Jamie Deobald, Darren Deobald, Trevor Gleim and Curtis Gleim.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin Deobald (Bernie), Michele Wall (Tom) and Gary Deobald (Trina); his grandchildren, Devon Deobald (Christina), Dana Thiessen (Logan), Shaun Wall, Allison Wall, Brady Deobald (Kelsi) and Brett Deobald; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Nora Thiessen, Willa and Andi Deobald; his brother Johnny Deobald (Marlene); and his in-laws, Janet Davison (Jerry), Irene Smith (Ron), Muriel Drysdale and Star Deobald. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
