He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Wilson and Harold Wilson; his in-laws, Vernon and Marvel Hegg; his siblings, Keith, Ted Wilson and Linda Lewyk; his sons, Michael Wilson and Jason Wilson; and his daughter-in-law Angela Hudak.
He is survived by: his significant other Linda Hegg; his son Dale (Carrie); his grandchildren, Jessica, Micheal, Cody, Wyatt, Brock, Kacie (Wilson), Allie and Leah (Guy); his great grandchildren, Hayden and Aurora Leopold; his sister Barbara (Dwight); and his sister-in-law Sharron Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
