He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmor Smith and Gertrude Smith; his siblings, Roy Smith (Mary), Gordon Smith (Ethel), Lyle Smith (Stella), Lawrence Smith, Roxy Glenister (Campbell), Pearl Hoffus (Laverne), Edith Keller (Jim) and Irene Cooper (Lorne); and his granddaughter Jo-Anne Baumgartner.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Willerton; his children, Wendy Clysdale, Kelvin Smith (Sheila), Glen Smith (Carol), Verna Rolles (Randy), Judy Baumgartner (Glen), Dale Smith (Lorraine), Lenard Smith (Maureen) and Rod Smith (Maureen); and his sister Bernice Willerton (Gordon). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
