Mary Grant Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 19, 2025, at the age of 91, Mary Grant (Tisdale, Saskatchewan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Regan and Dana; and her sister Joyce Codron. She is survived by: her husband Jim Grant; her daughters, Margo (Fraser Ross) and Carmen (James Wright); her sister Nora MacPherson; her daughter-in-law Anna Macala; her grandchildren, Cameron Grant, Kayla Forstey and Emma Ross; her great grandchildren, Parker Grant, Paxton Grant and Frederik Forstey; and her caregivers, Angela and Brenda.
In 1992, Mary was awarded the Governor General's Commemorative Medal for the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada "in recognition of significant contribution to compatriots, community and to Canada," primarily for her AIDS-related activities.
