With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Violet Lea Martens of Tugaske, Saskatchewan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Henry Martens of Eyebrow, SK. and Peter Martens of Tugaske, SK; her son Robert Martens; and her grandchildren, Douglas Martens and Shawna Martens.
She is survived by: her children, Dave Martens (Linda) of Kelowna, BC, Marv Martens (Sandra) of Moose Jaw, SK, Sharon Myette of Calgary, AB and Len (Sherry) of Tugaske, SK; her grandchildren, Karl Martens (Andrea), Christina Martens, Kenneth Martens (Roselyn), Colleen Van Troyen (Daniel), Julie Martens (Eric), Jennifer Bignell (Steve), Jonathan Martens (Renae), Chelsey Martens (Adam), Michelle Szigeti (Victor), Matthew Myette (Jennifer), Melissa Myette (Ryan), Spencer Martens (Jade) and Marcus Martens; and her great grandchildren, Jerome, Kaylee, Isabella, Alexander, Edward, Alice, Noah, Lucas, Trinity, Brady, Chase, Ryley, Koden, Devon, Micah, Lachlyn, Elena, Raiza, Mia, Cid, Katalina and Raiden.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Moose Jaw Funeral Home (268 Mulberry Ln, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 1N4).
