He was predeceased by: his wife Sophie; his parents, Harvey and Jessie; and his siblings, Jim, Percy, Julia, Cec, Jean, Rae, Hughie and Russel.

He is survived by: his children, Harvey, Brenda, Garry (Jennifer) and Dale; his grandchildren, Devon, Melissa (Chad), Jarret (Pearl), Cody, Jessica, Dalton and Cassidy; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Jayla, Marcail and Bryon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
