Larry Tavanetz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Tavanetz (Unity, Saskatchewan), born in Biggar, Saskatchewan, who passed away on May 16, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tavanetz and Alice Tavanetz; his in-laws, Gabe and Doreen Silvernagle; and his brother-in-law Wilfred Pehl.
He is survived by: his wife Gail; his daughter Genni Gunderson (Kaare); his grandchildren, Reid and Tait; his son Clarke Tavanetz (Yvona Zapshala); his siblings, Paulette and Doug (Glenna); and his brothers-in-law, Keith (Deb) and Doug Silvernagle (Jean). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
