It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Yaroshko (Unity, Saskatchewan), who passed away on April 7, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Yaroshko; her parents, Pete Kushner and Dora Kushner (Peter Yaroshko); her brother Nick Kushner; her daughter Sharron Yaroshko; her niece Laura Livingston; and her in-laws, Wasyl, Lena Yaroshko, Joe Cush, George Yaroshko, John, Dianne Yaroshko, Robert Farenick, Mary and Mike Evdokimenko.
She is survived by: her son Mark (Connie Yaroshko); her granddaughter Melissa (Niall Donald); her son-in-law Ron Kozakavich; her siblings, Alice Cush, Ruby Farenick and Victor (Pat Kushner); and her sisters-in-law, Kate Yaroshko and Florence Kushner.
