She was predeceased by: her parents, Ila Acton and Victor Acton; her husband Wilfred Mawbey; her siblings, Jim Acton and Laura Leeson; and her siblings-in-law, Walter Leeson, Raphael Ell, Irene Acton, Fred, Ruth Mawbey, Alfred, Freda Mawbey, Floyd and Nell Barnes.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Schofield (Laine) of Hay River, NWT, Ila Gallant (Abel) of Leduc, AB, Owen Mawbey (Lorianne) of Senlac, SK and Nancy; her siblings, Myrtle Acton, Ruth Whitney and Lorne Acton; her sister-in-law Dorothy Ell; her nephews, Paul Raymond, Russell Mawbey and Brian Acton; and her son-in-law Craig. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
