We announce the death of Mary Jessie Hoben (Unity, Saskatchewan), who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 80. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde; her parents, Nicholas and Mary; and her brothers, George (Jody), Nick and Eugene.

She is survived by: her children, Colleen Patey (Colin) of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Clyde Hoben (Denise) of Meadow Lake, Corey Hoben (Kathleen) of Wabush and Labrador; her grandchildren, Cole Patey of Halifax, Aurora Hoben Hunt of Newfoundland and Jordynn Hoben of North Battleford, Saskatchewan.; and her siblings, Claudette Dwyer (Geno) of Newfoundland, Isabel Thomas (Shawn) of Newfoundland and Mike Dwyer of Newfoundland. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
