He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Stewart and Kathleen Stewart; his sister Shirley Hoiland-Reavie; and his brothers-in-law, John Hoiland and Stan Reavie.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathleen "Fay" Baldwin (Ronald), John "Jack" Stewart and Dorothy Mitchell (Delbert). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
