She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carmichael and Margaret Carmichael; and her husband Mel Holowaty. She is survived by: her children, Julie Hamilton (Rob) and James Holowaty (Lindsey); her sister Joanne Pitre (Gordon); and her grandchildren, William, Karma, Kiefer, Aonghas Hamilton and Drew Holowaty. She is also survived by many cousins, relatives, in-laws, friends.
