He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Shemela and Annie Shemela; and his brother-in-law Peter Martyniuk. He is survived by : his sister Verna Martyniuk; his nieces, Barbara-Ann Dwyer (Ken Dwyer) and Michelle Tindall (David Tindall); his nephew Bradley Martyniuk (Nadine Martyniuk); his great-nephew Cohen Martyniuk; and his great-niece Kyla Tindall. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
