He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tessier and Agnes Tessier (Kusch); his sister Olive Tessier; his in-laws, Pierre and Jeanne Boutin; and his sister-in-law Jill Boutin.

He is survived by: his wife Lucy (Boutin); his daughter Sheri Tessier; his grandchildren, Dean and Dylan; his siblings, Alice Kellet, Joseph Tessier, Albert Tessier (Marge) and Marie Bernier (Bernard); and his in-laws, Sylvia Semesock (Paul), Rita Bernard (Rick), Emile Boutin (Bonnie) and Joseph Boutin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
