With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Richard Schmidt (Wakaw, Saskatchewan), born in Cudworth, Saskatchewan, who passed away on April 26, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Schmidt and Louis Schmidt; and his siblings, Dona Lee and Louis Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Donna Cudworth (Dufort); his children, Blake Wakaw Lake (Denise), Sherri Hendriks Wakaw (Dean) and Danielle Hendriks Saskatoon (Clayton); his grandchildren, Brett, AB, Tyson, Cody Richardson (Julie Tan), Dakota Stickle (Anthony), Ohio, Skylar, Owen, Harlow, Jade Richardson, Prince Albert, Madison Hendriks Cole (TJ Forster), Hayes, Tanner Hendriks, Brandon Hendriks (Kelsey), Blair, Sadie and Brook Hendriks; and his uncle Richard Roberge (Jean).
Donations in memory of Gary may be directed to a charity of personal choice.
