We are sad to announce that, on April 14, 2026, at the age of 77, Melvin Auten (Wakaw, Saskatchewan) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melvin Auten to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Auten (Melita Auten) and Melita Auten; his brothers, Howard, Don, Jerry and Zared; his niece Suanne; and his close friends, Reuben of Toubou, T. C., Toby, Eva Purron and Yasser Aracat.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Trisha, Jennifer (Serge) and Matthew (Lianne); his grandchildren, Ava, Ayden, Kate, Charlie, Jillian and Julien; and his sister Vicky. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, cousins, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to the Saskatoon SPCA.
