It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Leslie Philp (Waldeck, Saskatchewan), who passed away on December 26, 2017, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jack (Scotty), Jim (Velma), Alan and Don; his son-in-law George Bestrop; his parents-in-law, Oscar Peterson and Mildred Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Agnes Peltier, Maurice Peltier and Garnet King.

He is survived by: his spouse Hazel Gardiner; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Austin, Kyle Penner, Chelsea, Jillian, Caden Klys, Kelly, Taylor, Colby Bestrop, Grace, Reno Gardiner, Grady, Hadley, Blakely Gardiner, Liam Penner and Eva Penner; his stepchildren, Lance Gardiner (Twyla), DeWayne Gardiner, Jackie Bestrop and Tracy Gardiner (Laura); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Philp and Rita Philp. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #56 Building Fund or the charity of one's choice.
