He was predeceased by: his former wife Agnes Friesen (Janzen); his parents, Peter H. Friesen and Katherina Friesen (Neufeld); and his siblings, Jacob, Henry, John, David and Helen Wiebe.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Neudorf of La Crete; his children, Darrel Friesen (Martha), Murray Friesen, Rod Friesen (Lisa), Rhonda Neufeld (Dale) and Rena Noble (Nathan); his stepchildren, Sheldon Kroeker (Marge) and Shawana Hildebrandt (Scott); and his sisters, Kathy Dyck (John), Betty Ginther and Mary Peters (Glen). He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
