He was predeceased by : his parents, William John and Ruth; his parents-in-law, Irene and Arne; and his brother-in-law Henri.

He is survived by : his wife Lois Elaine (Mattson); his children, Nita (Curtis), William John (Dee) and Anna Maureen (Sanjoy); his siblings, Ellen (Henri) and Thomas (Dolores); and his grandchildren, Danica, Marcus and McKay. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
