Daniel Andrew Schmid Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Andrew Schmid (Watson, Saskatchewan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schmid and Amelia "Molly" Schmid; his brother Leo Schmid; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Kastello and Larry Kwasnicia.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laina Chwelos (Mike), Carmela Perrin (David) of Edmonton, AB, Koren Leer (Rodney) of Cochrane, AB, Michelle Maier (Neil) of Lloydminster, AB and Petrina Solomon (David) of Cochrane, AB; his grandchildren, Marshall, Danielle, Luke, Franklin, Jamie, Sydney, Taylor, Amanda, Katherine, Racheal, Gabriel and Amelia; his close friends, Randy, June Plemel, Treena Schiml-Neufeld, Rick and Shelly Leschuck; and also, Dolores Kastello of Waukesha, WI, Gerald Schmid (Judy), David Schmid (Judy) of Watson, Edward Schmid (Patricia), Edith Kwasnicia, Marianne Schmid and Leonard Schmid of Watson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.
