He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Silzer and Joseph Silzer; his wife Patricia (S. S.); and his siblings, Clara, Agnes (Mike), Rudy, Fernie (Julia), Carl (Evelyn), John (Hattie), Frank (Reta) and Joseph (Hazel).

He is survived by: his great-nieces, Chelsea and Courtney; his daughters, Kathy and Cindy (Nick); his granddaughters, Rebecca (Terry) and Amanda (Mike); his great grandchildren, Hayley, Sarah and Liam; his brother Emil (Faye); his siblings-in-law, Bettie, Judy, Mary and Ray (Marilyn); and his close friends, Bonnie and Matt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
