He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Kenneth, Dorris Hunter (Dot), Hugh and Edith Self; his parents, Wayne Stuart and Audrey Stuart (Bernice); his uncles, Lloyd Martin, Jim Lennox, Duane DeCorby and Nick Passmen; his aunt Dorothy Passmen; his cousins, Dale Hickey and Janice Keller; his extended family, Shirley Hickey, Dave Kruger and Tom Forsythe; his brother-in-law Russell Konkin; his nephew-in-law Ryan Konkin; and his pets, Slye, Goku, Chance, Oden and Stuart.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his children, Devin (Caitlin), Sherise (Jason), Faythe (Steven) and Keli (Derek); his grandchildren, Pepper, Marek, Marley, KitAnna, Mika and Quinn; his siblings, Rhonda (Selwyn), Trent (Dorothy), Taz (Carol) and Vic (Jen); his aunts, Lois, Sharon (Pat), Gloria, Maxine (Bob), Pat and Valerie; and his uncle Jeff (Ann). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed berry picking, camping and was a previous member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
