She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Kater and Shirley Kater; and her mother-in-law Rose Wheeler. She is survived by: her husband Brad Wheeler of Weyburn, SK; her daughter Caitlin Messer (Brett) of Weyburn, SK; her granddaughter Rayna Messer; her siblings, Cheryl O'Byrne, Sheila Tooke, Greg Kater and Kelly Kater (Stephanie); her father-in-law Gerald Wheeler; her siblings-in-law, Shelley Stephanson (Darryle), Wade Wheeler (Darla) and Melissa Innes (Bruce); and her pets, Tucker and Myla. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the McKenna Hall, Weyburn Email (317 3rd St NE, Weyburn, SK S4H0W6).
