He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles McRae and Olive McRae; his parents-in-law, Archie and Gwen Frape; and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Lavender and Norm Baily.

He is survived by : his wife Blanche McRae of Weyburn, SK; his son Brad McRae (Nicole); his grandchildren, Ryan and Isla of Vancouver, BC; his daughter Susan Urquhart (Andrew); his grandchildren, Zach and Cassidy Flegel (Brendan); his children, Bentley, Harper of Regina, SK, Curtis McRae (Kristen) and Olivia of Regina, SK; his siblings, Ilyne Lavender, Jean Baily, Bob Frape (Colleen) and Ron Frape (Joyce); his granddaughter Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Bentley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
