Deone Gruchy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deone Gruchy of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 10, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Deone Gruchy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Geiger and Jean Geiger; her husband Gordon Gruchy; and her brother Barry Geiger (Anne). She is survived by: her children, Valerie White (Ken) of Creston, BC, Verla Gruchy of Regina, SK, Richard Gruchy (Joanne) of Nipawin, SK, Lorelee Wagner (Blair) of Airdrie, AB and Linda Klassen (Lee) of Weyburn, SK.; and her siblings, Elwood Geiger (Colleen), Walter Geiger (Shirley) and Dell Powell. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Silver Heights Bible Church (1610 Clark Ave, Weyburn, SK S4H3G3). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crescent Road Cemetery.
