He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Yeik and Louise Yeik; his brother Lawrence Yeik; his sister-in-law Carol Yeik; his parents-in-law, Stan and Katie Zelionka; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Matthewson (Ivan) and Eddie Zelionka.

He is survived by: his nephew Cole Eilers; his wife Jean Yeik of McTaggart, SK; his son Shane Yeik (Lynn) of Calgary, AB; his grandchildren, Brogen (Eric) and Parker (James); his daughter Lana Yeik of Weyburn, SK; his grandchildren, Austin, Bryanna and Casey; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Zelionka and Jeannette Zelionka. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, others relatives and friends.
