He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolf Ludemann and Meta Ludemann; his wife Shirley Ludemann (Wiseman); and his siblings, Herman Ludemann and Magda Meyer.

He is survived by: his children, Peter Ludemann (Kikuyo) of Los Altos, California, Pauline Vatamaniuck (Cal) of Weyburn, SK and Susan Persicke of Victoria, B. C; his grandchildren, Emi Lussier (Guillaume), Ria Ludemann, Kevin Vatamaniuck (Linette), Cheryl Peters (Mark), John Vatamaniuck (Lenora), Cody Brown (Jillian) and Kellee Brown; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Natasha, Nathan, Liam, Oliver, Caleb, Lochlin, William, Abigail and Joshua.
