He was predeceased by: his parents, Atwood Bent and Mary Bent; his daughter Barbara Ann; and his siblings, William, Doug, Robert, Richard, Ralph and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Melba; his son Mark Bent; his grandsons, Adam and Andrew; his daughter Kim Bent; his grandson Matt; his son Whit Bent; and his brother Keith Bent (Jo). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rd Family Funeral Chapel (1825 1 Ave NE, Weyburn, SK S4H0A1).
