He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Murray; his parents, Anna Murray and Marshall (Ella Murray); his sister Pat; his brother-in-law Frank McLure; his in-laws, Ross and Jennie Morgan; his brothers-in-law, Art Toews and Dave Penner; his nephew Ron Penner; and his niece Leanne Winkler.
He is survived by: his children, Darla Peterson (Lowell) of Weyburn, SK, Rhonda Zappone (Mike) of Salmon Arm, BC, Randy (Jacquie Gaudreau) and Murray of Blind Bay, BC; his grandchildren, Milessa (Justin), Boaz, Vienna, Zekiel and Gilead; his children, Brooke (Ben), Starlet (Kresten), Keplar, Porter, Karina, Brady (Gabie), August, Kole (Arlena), Korbin, Jenessa (Jared), Carson, Kipton, Whitney, Justin (Brittany) and Gracie; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Penner, Diane Winkler (Raymond), Barb Toews and Murray Morgan (Gwen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Church of Christ (1115 1 Ave NE, Weyburn, SK S4H0N2). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
