She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hanson and Mamie Hanson; her sister Lorna Ashworth; her brothers-in-law, Gordon Ashworth and Eugene Emberley; and her niece Taylor Hanson.

She is survived by: her children, Todd Hockley of Leduc, AB, Tranis Hockley of Edmonton, AB and Michael Hockley of Leduc, AB; and her siblings, Lane Hanson (Fran), Debbie Obst (Terry), Mona Bloor (Stuart), Charlene Emberley, Emery Hanson (Jean) and Steven Hanson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends.
