He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Schaeffer and Theresa Schaeffer; his siblings, Raymond, Wayne Schaeffer and Bernadette Baird; his brother-in-law Glenn Cunningham; and his niece Rebecca Rohl.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marilyn Cunningham of Regina, SK and Diane Sanchuk (Joe) of Fort Qu'Appelle, SK. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
