He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Periard and Dorothy Periard; his siblings, Elaine Periard, John Periard, Louise Periard and Lawrence Periard; his nephews, Dean Periard, Jesse Periard and Ryan Bedore; and his siblings-in-law, Dale McPherson, Myrna Periard and Marlis Periard.
He is survived by: his children, Destin Periard, Courtney Periard, Michelle Ahenakew, Mathew Periard, Deana Latham (Trent) and Maggin Attig; and his siblings, Dianne Vilcu (Harold), Elwood Periard (Cheryl), Lucien Periard, Leo Periard, Elizabeth McPherson, Jeanne Periard, Michael Periard (Cindy) and Therese Scott (Larry). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
A prayer was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Rd Family Funeral Chapel (1825 1 Ave NE, Weyburn, SK S4H0A1). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church (314 3rd St NE, Weyburn, SK S4H0W7).
