She was predeceased by: her children, Myrna Akachuk, Kalvin Shepherd, Nova Colleen Shepherd and Morley Shepherd; her grandchildren, Rena Akachuk, Preston Akachuk, David Shepherd and Isaac Maxie; and her parents, Louie Lonethunder and Cecilia Lonethunder (Kakakaway).
She is survived by: her husband Donald Lonechild; her son Delbert Shepherd; her grandchildren, Christine Shepherd, Andrea Shepherd and Brandon Shepherd; her son Allan Shepherd; her grandchildren, Prince Shepherd, Dorilyn Shepherd, Derek Shepherd, Dallan Shepherd, Kewhiw Shepherd and Angelina Shepherd; her daughter Marcelline Shepherd (Delray Maxie); and her grandchildren, Dedrick Shepherd, Angel Maxie, Skylar Maxie, Breanne Shepherd, Justice Maxie, Tanis Maxie and Mallory Maxie. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A wake was held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the White Bear Community Hall (1 Main St, White Bear, SK S0L3L0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
