He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Maier and Nancy Maier (Lichacz); and his siblings, Gerald, Barbara Ann, Joe, Lloyd and Theresa.
He is survived by: his wife Anita (Brule); his children, Tony (Connie), Kim (Nicole), Wanda Russell (Tim) and Tanya Storoschuk (Dave); his grandchildren, Lauren (Brodie), Cameron (Khali), Kaitlyn Fredlund (Dylan), Austin Russell, Shaylyn Russell (Cole), Dylan and Danika Storoschuk; and his great grandchild Brynlee Fredlund. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Whitewood Legion Community Hall (738 Lalonde St, Whitewood, SK S0G5C0).
If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Whitewood Community Health Centre's activity department in memory of David.
