He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Sloboda and Elizabeth Sloboda (Bator); his wife Grace; his brother Ken Latos; his brother-in-law Dennis Pelletier; and his parents-in-law, John and Agnes Nagy.

He is survived by: his children, Sheri Sloboda, Wilkie Sask, Lloyd Sloboda (Jill), Unity Sask and Brad Sloboda; his grandchildren, Christopher Sloboda (Janelle Little), Steven Sloboda, Morgan Sloboda (Brandon Griffiths) and Jordan Sloboda; and his sisters, Margaret Pelletier, Edith Sereda (Alex), Shirley Prociuk (Terry) and Joanne Hildebrandt (Dale).

Donations to the Chronic Kidney Disease Clinic or the PD Clinic at St. Paul's Hospital would graciously be accepted by the family.
