René Chartrand Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of René Chartrand of Wollaston Lake, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 20, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Chartrand and Mary Jane Chartrand (Lyon); his siblings, Jim, Harry, Nelson and Grace; his brothers-in-law, Allan, Bob and Walter; his nephew Joseph; and his great-nephews, Cory and John.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Kuntz of Saskatoon, SK; his children, Rosanne of Kelowna, BC, Barry (Sheila) of Saskatoon, SK, Laurie of Kelowna, BC and Mikal of Saskatoon, SK; his grandchildren, Tyler, Rachel, Mitchell, Katlyn (Brandan), Curtis and Alysha (Brett); his great grandchild Parker; his sisters, Lorraine and Julie; and his sister-in-law Leona. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, friends, students and coworkers.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre (Riverside Rd, Dauphin, MB).
