He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Petrie and Marjorie Petrie; and also Leo. He is survived by: his children, Jim (Simone), Dave, Brenda and Shelly (Cliff); the mother of his children Maria Petrie; his grandchildren, Zack, Jessi, Julie, Sarah and Angie; and his siblings, Bob (Barbara), Doreen and Donna (Ken).

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Broadview Cemetery.
