Debra Churchman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Debra Churchman on January 31, 2021 at the age of 66 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Les; Daughters Shelly, Bobbi-Jo, Tracy (Richard), Lesley (Heath), and Carrie (DJ); Grandchildren JC, Gracie, Nash, Paige, Aubrey, Cadence, Connor, Cason and Cora.
Deb was also a beloved sister, aunt and a loving friend to many.
Deb was born October 22, 1954 in Kamloops, BC to Joyce and George Savage and grew up in the Langley area. After visiting family in Saskatchewan they decided to move, finally settling in Regina to raise their family.
Deb was the first to volunteer always filling up the station wagon to drive the kids, she attended all the sporting events, concerts, awards, dance competitions, whatever it was she was there. Deb also spent many years volunteering with Special Olympics and made many friends along the way. She was always busy doing something whether it was working on her old cars, doing yard work, fixing almost anything, camping and most of all spending time with her grandchildren who she loved dearly.
Deb left an impression on everyone she met, she was always smiling, always wanting to have fun and just a big kid at heart. She will truly be missed by all.

A celebration of Debra’s life will be held at a later date.
