With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dorothy Isabelle Chay of Wolseley, Saskatchewan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dorothy left this world on May 22, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her father George; her husband Alex Chay; her daughters, Judy, Pat, Mary Jean and Isabelle; and her great grandchild Mathew.
She is survived by: her children, Wallis Chay (Val), Joan Kisil (Ron) and Michael Chay; her sons-in-law, Larry Hillmer and Daryl McBride; her grandchildren, Alex (Joanne), Dawn (Chris), Mark (Ashlyn), Chris (Melissa), Tim (Pam), Brant (Jess), Brianne (Steven), Jeff, Steven and Caitlin; her great grandchildren, Owen, Max, Kayla, Grayden, Halistyn, Kenedi, Laila, Nathan, Brexlee and Jack; and her siblings, Don and Blanche. She is also survived by many in-laws; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home (210 Claude St, Wolseley, SK S0G 5H0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anne's R. C. Church.
