He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Hanson and Hilma Hanson; his in-laws, James and Aleta McIntyre; his daughter Jacqueline; his siblings, Sylvia Elliot, Harvey, Glen and Sydney; his half-sisters, Dagmar Beattie and Phyllis Pitts; and his siblings-in-law, Beth Moore, Maxine Hill, Dave Elliot, Lloyd McIntyre, George Hill, Gordon Moore, Alex Beattie and Mike Pitts.
He is survived by: his wife Iris; his children, Laurel Keller (Wayne) and Mark (Karen); his son-in-law Sean Adams (Tanya); and his grandchildren, Derek Adams, Kayla Vargo (Tyler), Kelsey Czerwonka (Drew), Ashley Schmidt (Jared) and Courtney Brule (Braden). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Broadview Community Centre.
