He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta; his parents, Fred Hess and Emma Hess; his parents-in-law, Robert and Tena McCall; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Richter, Wayne McCall and Barry McCall.
He is survived by: his son Darwin (Karmen); his grandchildren, Dayle (Darwin Schneider), Brett (Mark Urschel), Shyla (Lyle Laverdiere) and Laramy; his daughter Darnell (Joe Mitchell); his great grandchildren, Dean (Dawn), Summer, Maya and Wesley; his children, Nova, Olivia, Damon, Austyn, Hudson, Londyn, Raya, Rohen, Rilyn, Kaleb, Ryker, Remilyn, Wrenley and Sutton; his siblings, Mert (Coleta) and Bev; his sisters-in-law, Ruth McCall and Dianne McCall; Shaelynne (Devin Langlois), Teagan (Cote Bostock), Jace and Kieara. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
