He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Irene George and Ronald George; his grandparents, Alex, Clara George, Robert Shavetail and Georgina Kequahtooway; and his siblings, Darcy George, Wes George, Owen George, Randy George and Kelly Lila George.

He is survived by: his children, Candace (Brandon), Gerald Jr., Lindsay and Gary Redwood (Ashley); and his siblings, Robert George (Karen), Darryl George (Diane), Tim George, Alex George (Vhenus), Les George (Martina), Jolene George and Risa Downs.

A wake was held on Sunday, January 25th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Elders Lodge. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM.
