He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Eashappie; his parents, Hector Eashappie and Lena Eashappie; his brother Robert "Bobby" Eashappie; his nephew Russell Ryder; his sisters, Agnes, Velma and Shirley Thompson (Glen); his adoptive son Garnet Eashappie; his great grandchild Shalanda; and his granddaughter Lori Jack.
He is survived by: his sister Cora Thomson (Bill); his children, Cary (Nora), Kevin (Connie), Jesse, Jorge, Starla, Kelly, Brandee (Kevin) and Tracy (Jay); his adoptive daughters, Reagan (Fred) and Brenda Bird; his grandchildren, Twinkle (Perry), Colinda Tanner (William), Shelly Tanner (Dean), Bailey, Delta, Terrence, Taliegha, Aiden, Stone, Paden and Damien; and his nephew Leach.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Carry the Kettle First Nation Community Hall. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
