With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Louis Eashappie (Wolseley, Saskatchewan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Louis left this world on October 8, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Eashappie; his parents, Hector Eashappie and Lena Eashappie; his brother Robert "Bobby" Eashappie; his nephew Russell Ryder; his sisters, Agnes, Velma and Shirley Thompson (Glen); his adoptive son Garnet Eashappie; his great grandchild Shalanda; and his granddaughter Lori Jack.
He is survived by: his sister Cora Thomson (Bill); his children, Cary (Nora), Kevin (Connie), Jesse, Jorge, Starla, Kelly, Brandee (Kevin) and Tracy (Jay); his adoptive daughters, Reagan (Fred) and Brenda Bird; his grandchildren, Twinkle (Perry), Colinda Tanner (William), Shelly Tanner (Dean), Bailey, Delta, Terrence, Taliegha, Aiden, Stone, Paden and Damien; and his nephew Leach.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Carry the Kettle First Nation Community Hall. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
