He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Kay and Eva Kay; his wife Gladys Blueeyes; his siblings, Charlotte, Evelyn and Ken; and his grandson Wesley Jr..

He is survived by: his daughter Pauline; and his siblings, Lorna, Pearl, Ethel, Sid (Corrine), Alvin, Lester (Christine) and Ernest. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
