She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Kahnapace and Harriet Kahnapace; her husband Kenneth Stonechild; her siblings, Celina Kahnapace, George Kahnapace, Edna Pelletier, Harvey Kahnapace, Connie Kahnapace, Rene Kahnapace, Frank and Stanley McDonald; her daughters, Cheryle Sangwais and Trudy Obey; her grandchildren, Chad Kahnapace, Tara Stonechild and Brandon Stonechild; her great grandchild Dorain Hancock-McKay Jr.; and her sons-in-law, Greg, Roddy and Dexter.

She is survived by : her siblings, Noel Kahnapace (Rose Mae) and Ina Kahnapace; her sister-in-law Louise Kahnapace; her children, Donovan, Ronda, Debbie, Maggie (Monty), Kendra (Darryl), Sonia, Randy (Brenda), Ryan and Brendan; her godson Kevin Harvey Kahnapace; and her cousin Marilyn Bear.
