Agnes Zwirsky Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Agnes Zwirsky (Yorkton, Saskatchewan), who passed away on February 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Metro Spilchen and Annie Spilchen; her parents-in-law, Sidney and Helen Zwirsky; and her siblings, Peter Spilchen, Madalyn Sterner, Doreen Lezon and Pauline Dennis.

She is survived by: her husband Edward Zwirsky of Yorkton; her children, Michael Zwirsky (Ivana), Bev Fookes (Darren), Debbie Kerr (Don) and Allan Zwirsky (Jen); and her siblings, Elizabeth Petrowsky, Katie Petrowsky, Evelyn Tymko (Allan) and Walter Spilchen. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A prayer was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Saskatchewan as gifts of remembrance.
