He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Makuch and Anne Makuch; and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his wife Doreen Balysky; his sister Elaine Walberg (Garry) of Qualicum Beach, BC; his niece Laura Gilbert (Alain); his daughter Gabrielle of Naniamo, BC; his niece Leah Walberg-Folk (Brady); his children, Bowen and Raine of Parksville, BC.; his niece Twila Makuch of Dauphin; and also, Keegan and Marlene Kostiuk (Ray) of Benito.
