He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Schmidt and Rose Schmidt; and his sister Evelyn Haberman. He is survived by : his wife Linda Schmidt; his children, Carla Almasi (Darrell) and Bryan Schmidt; and his grandchildren, Presley, Toby, Avery and Scarlett Almasi.
