He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Yagelnesky and Annie Yagelnesky (Marchenko); his wife Jean Yagelnesky of Yorkton, SK; his sons, Larry and Lavern; his siblings, Myron (Victoria), John, Pete, Nick (Eugenia), Laddie (Lena), Jenny Kiryluk (John), Freida Kostenuk (John), Mary Mintenko (George), Nettie Bobowski (Jim) and Olga Hodge (Stan); and his brothers-in-law, Leo Melenychuk, Howard Peck, Stanley Scheschuk (Helen) and Ludvick Scheschuk.
He is survived by: his sister Grace; and his brother-in-law Harry Scheschuk (Pauline). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces, as well as extended family.
